Path of the Light

Path Of The Light / beAt pOets by beat4poets

Out of deep space a dim point of light
appears on the fringe of my wondering sight.
Shining on from exorbitant times,
slowly this white dwarf, is dying at ease,
loosing it's power, disappearing in peace.

Doomed to disaster a blue giant ends,
burning its planets, 'cause forces enhance.
Exploding with a violent blast,
it emitted a huge hot dying gasp,
leaving just debris of a supernova,
dust and a pulsar, a dense neutron star.

Merging galaxies great ballets of light,
cradle of stars in clouds shining bright.
Dancing queens, gently moving along
to the faint sounds of an unheard song.
Cosmic dervishes, rotating quasars,
dressed in bright veils of luminous gas.

Heading for nowhere galaxies are drifting,
while inconceivable masses are shifting.
Driven by dark force from the day time begun,
space is growing, like matter on the run.
Increasing the distance all stars go astray,
by crossing fringe areas, emitting x- ray.

Since long gone times to the end of last day,
within a dark shell of light passed away,
an eternal remnant of millions of stars,
a close relative to rotating pulsars,
nebulous black grave near a deep sea of suns
is steaming away while at least - space time runs.
